Spring is in the air and we are so happy we are able to share it with couples like Becca and Brandan. We captured these playful images Wednesday at Powell's Book Store / Pearl District and up around NW 23rd. We can't wait to show you the entire collection, so until then enjoy a small sample.

PPO 2008 Print Competition

This past weekend at the Professional Photographers of Oregon convention Bob and Bryan were rewarded for the following images submitted into the annual competiton.

Bob's print "Intermission of the Dance" was awarded the "Ester Munk Trophy" given for the best image in the Fine Art Category. This is Bob's second "Ester Munk Trophy" win, he also received this award in 1996.



Bryan's print "Painted Tiger" was selected for the "Court of Honor" which is considered "The Best of the Best". The "Court of Honor" goes to the top 20 individual print makers at the annual print competition. This is Bryan's 7th consecutive time he has placed an image among the elite "Court of Honor"

Layover in Washington DC

Greetings from South Africa

I want to keep everyone up to date on my trip to South Africa. We had the privilege to visit "Lily of the Valley" today. South Africa is an amazing country and our trip has been very rewarding. Stephanie Cantu - { Senior }

We are pleased to share images from the senior session of Stephanie Cantu. These were taken in October over at Dawson Creek, it was a little warmer back then. Check out the last image of her and sisters and nephew.

Haley Berdan - { Senior }

We are updating the senior showcase and today is for Haley. We photographed both in studio and outdoors to give Haley the full MIT variety. Paige, Haley's mom came on the session with us and enjoyed the experience. In fact we will be doing a complete family session in the spring. The first image is actually part of a series of 3 that will showcase Haley's personality and will look fabulous in their home. Another MIT favorite is the tunnel image that gives a "top model" feel.

Humanitarian Trip to South Africa { Bryan }

Now that 2008 is upon us my trip to South Africa draws near. I will be leaving PDX to assist an organization called "Memory Books from Home" as they visit orphanages, schools, hospitals in and around Durban, South Africa.

The trip will be from Jan 31 through Feb 14th. Durban will be our home base as we travel north to the Richards Bay area and also spend time NW of Durbin (Richmond, Cato Ridge, and Mempelo.)

I can not begin to express my excitement and feelings as this trip unfolds. I will post more details and thoughts over the next few weeks. I believe we have Internet access at the house we are staying and if possible I will post updates to the mit blog.

Today is "Klive's" 10th Birthday. I captured this image of him running down the beach last year. Klive is always up for a good adventure and loves the beach.

Happy New Year - 2008

Happy 2008 everyone! I trust each of you had a fantastic holiday season. All of us at Moments In Time Photography want to say "Thank You" for allowing us to be your portrait studio and create images for you and your families.
