Pastor Bill Wilson - Oregon Ministry Network Superintendent
Sunday, July 1st was a time of celebration and honoring for our church, Portland Christian Center.
Our beloved Pastor Bill Wilson accepted a new leadership role as the Oregon Ministry Network's new Superintendent, which is the overseer of all the Oregon Pastors and Churches of our fellowship - The Assemblies of God.
In this new capacity, Pastor Bill will serve the Assemblies of God churches throughout the state of Oregon and be to the Oregon fellowship what he has faithfully been to us these past 20 years. He has officially moved to this new role as of July 2nd.
Celebration Sunday with a packed house to honor Pastor Bill and Joy Wilson.
Outstanding music by the choir and orchestra under the direction of Pastor Ron Cochran.
Surprise guest, Reverend Charles Crabtree, Assemblies of God assistant general superintendent, ignited the congregation with his uplifting words.
Dalen Harrison, chairman of the board of Deacons, makes special acknowledgements and presentation to Pastor and Joy along with their children, Kim Kirkland, Kristi Chappon and Pastor Phil Wilson.
Retiring Superintendent of Oregon AG, Vernon Marks prays over Pastor Bill and Joy as they are commissioned into their new leadership role.

FujiFilm Event @ MIT
As a member of FujiFilm's talent team I had the opportunity to host an event at the studio for photographers from the Portland Metro area to test out Fuji's NEW S5 camera. The S5 has many up-grades and will make a great addition to our studio. I won't go into all the details but this camera has some serious features that other manufactures can't touch.
Larry Battistello, our Fuji Rep and Bruce Arnold, Fuji's Senior Tech Adviser, were on hand to provide knowledge and all the info we needed about the newest Fuji Pro DSLR. Doug Potts from Pro Photo Supply was also here, if your in the market for a new camera visit Pro Photo Supply in NW Portland.

Tulip Fest - Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm
Spring? Well it's almost here, should we enjoy the RAIN? YES, that's exactly what the plan became this past Saturday. Kimberly and I went to the Tulip Fest at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn.

We tried to wait out the rain at the Woodburn Outlet stores but it became evident it wasn't going to let up so off we went. Next year hopefully the weather will cooperate better but we had a great time and almost had the place to ourselves. ENJOY!!!!
